This cup has been carefully crafted by a studio potter and then accentuated with caning on the handle, to add to its natural charm.

Studio pottery, is a type of pottery created by individual artists in their private studios. Unlike mass-produced pottery,it emphasizes the artistic and creative aspects of the craft. The kneaded clay is thrown on a potter’s wheel and molded into the desired shape.After drying, a glaze is applied and the product is fired at high temperatures making it sturdy.

As each handmade piece is unique it may contain slight variations in colour, texture and form.
