The studio potter has artfully created this interesting mug. Its dual tones are juxtaposed with a square handle giving it a contemporary allure.
Studio pottery, is a type of pottery created by individual artists in their private studios. Unlike mass-produced pottery, it emphasizes the artistic and creative aspects of the craft. The kneaded clay is thrown on a potter’s wheel and molded into the desired shape. After drying, a glaze is applied and the product is fired at high temperatures making it sturdy.
