The technique of burning wood is a clever alternative to using paint or polish and ensures a lack of use of chemicals in the design process. This product has been made from a single piece of solid wood and then wiped with vegetable oil. The absence of chemical polish makes this product food safe.



Burnt wood craft, is a creative art form that involves burning the wood surface to achieve a black hue. After the burning, the surface is then sanded with sand paper and polished with oil. This technique offers a wide range of design possibilities with the contrasting black surfaces creating interesting designs.
