Inspired by the timeless beauty of a blooming blossom, the Kusum Bowl (Big) is hand-crafted from gleaming sheet brass into a five-petaled floral silhouette. Using traditional metalworking techniques, skilled artisans shape each gently curved petal to create a delicate balance between structural art and functional design. Perfect as a centerpiece for float bowls, fruit, or ceremonial offerings, its radiant golden finish elevates any modern or traditional surface. Because every bowl is individually handcrafted, subtle variations in texture, tone, and form make each piece uniquely one-of-a-kind.
Metal craft or the art of crafting metal into beautiful objects is based on three traditional methods
a) the hammering or beating method
b) the casting method
c) the brazing method.
In the beaten method metal is forged, in casting molten metal is poured into moulds and in brazing, pre fabricated sheets are used.
Brass metal used here is an alloy of zinc and copper.
As each handmade piece is unique it may contain slight variations in color, texture and form.
