STORY

Crafted as a tactile desk sculpture, this paperweight features a central inverted triangle framed by radiating fan-like geometric planes. The solid brass density holds documents firmly in place while catching desktop lighting from multiple angles. It serves as both a functional paper anchor and a refined art object for modern workspaces.

Metal craft or the art of crafting metal into beautiful objects is based on three traditional methods
a) the hammering or beating method
b) the casting method
c) the brazing method.
In the beaten method metal is forged, in casting molten metal is poured into moulds and in brazing, pre fabricated sheets are used.
Brass metal used here is an alloy of zinc and copper.

CARE

Wash with gentle cleanser. After washing, always air dry and store in a dry place. Brass may oxidized due to its natural properties. To remove oxidization spots, you can also use tamarind paste with salt or a combination of white vinegar and salt.
