Kansa craft, is a traditional form of metalwork that originated in India. This craft is characterized by the use of a unique alloy called "Kansa" or "Kansya," which is primarily composed of copper (80%) and tin (20%). Kansa is believed to have natural antimicrobial properties that can help keep food and beverages fresh and safe for consumption.


As each handmade piece is unique it may contain slight variations in color, texture and form.

Wash with gentle cleanser. After washing, always air dry and store in a dry place. Kansa may oxidized due to its natural properties. To remove oxidization spots, you can also use tamarind paste with salt or a combination of white vinegar and salt.
