JWALA SALT AND PEPPER BOX

This salt and pepper container has an interesting structure. The base has been wiped with food safe oil and the lids have been burnt to give it a black burnished look. There is no chemical or polish used in the manufacturing process making this a food safe and healthy product.



Burnt wood craft, is a creative art form that involves burning the wood surface to achieve a black hue. After the burning, the surface is then sanded with sand paper and polished with oil. This technique offers a wide range of design possibilities with the contrasting black surfaces creating interesting designs.

As each handmade piece is unique it may contain slight variations in color, texture and form.

Wipe the product immediately after use. Do not soak or use hot water. Dry after wiping with damp cloth and do not store damp products. When the wood appears dry or dull you may polish it with a vegetable oil.
